A woman chosen by God, Pastor Stacy Atkinson was ordained a Minister on May 18, 2003 under the leadership of Pastor George Atkinson of Life in the Word Ministry. On June 7, 2019, she launched The Church of Labourers and began an online ministry.

 

By October 2020, the church was meeting in a building every Sunday, and five years later, a permanent home was purchased. Pastor Stacy earned her certification as a Christian Counselor in 2024, recognizing her commitment to spiritual care and discipleship. She stands firm on the work of Jesus Christ, believing that God's plan for her life is far greater than any plan she could imagine. Her passion is for everyone to have a personal relationship with Christ.

 

Through God's Word and the Holy Spirit, Pastor Stacy preaches and teaches with a heart to help people experience deliverance, healing, and freedom. Despite her dedication to preaching God's Word, she continues to be a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and faithful friend.

 

Her favorite scriptures guide her life: "Therefore seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33) and "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do" (Ephesians 2:10).
